Saka was 4 yards inside the area when Laca hit the penalty I thought VAR checked for that.

Love how they celebrate like they’ve just scored a worldie when they score a penalty

?? Strange post, not sure why but I was questioning why players over celebrate a penalty, talk about complex am I anti Arsenal or something, pretty sure I’ve mentioned things about all teams but yep I’m particularly against Arsenal am I?

Its not strange.

I would have said the exact same thing if salah scored a pen and they celebrated like arsenal did.

What the hell is wrong with celebrating scoring a pen?
 
Nothing wrong with celebrating but I said the over celebrating as if they’d hit a worldie, tbh it was a great penalty but kissing the badge and blowing kisses at the camera is over the top in my eyes, for the record it’s the same with any penalty taker, it’s you against the keeper from 12 yards you should be scoring from there unless the keeper pulls off a great save.
 
I don’t think you understand, it’s more than just the goal, it’s about keeping the feel good factor going and getting the crowd up. It breeds confidence.
 
Partey is really beginning to show his quality now. Out of all the DM’s in the prem, I could only make an argument for Fabinho as the better player.
 
In an unrelated post, I had Roma to win as the last match in my Acca for this weekend and have just watched their match. Shocking is the only word I can think of. The fact that this Roma team are (or were I should say) on a 7 match unbeaten run goes to show just what a joke of a league the Italian league must be. I truly dont think I have seen a team play as bad as Roma did in this game. I mean they were just terrible, not just bad but truly terrible. At times I actually wondered if some of their players were actually footballers. Thank goodness for the overall quality of our leagues.
 
Palace gamely holding on at the moment, hang in there Palace ! City dropping points today would be absolute bliss what with us having our game in hand against Arsenal on Wednesday
 
Only watching it until the inevitable occurs...but you never know!

Football can be a funny old game sometimes.
