How that first one wasn’t a yellow is beyond me.

Look at how much clubs have spent and got absolutely no where. If you spend properly and have a proper structure you can get yourself up the table.

The money spent on fees is kinda irrelevant as it’s wages that are the main focus when it comes to managing FFP. Most clubs cannot compete on the wage front with the traditional elite and thus can’t attract the best players.

Look at Everton, spent loads of money on fees but the options were limited because of how much they could offer in wages. I think they currently only have two players earning just over 100k a week and they are still in FFP trouble.

Meanwhile Liverpool, United, Chelsea etc are out there offering 400k a week to some players and obviously City with their cooked books are beyond that !
