They had to though, they didn't have players. They signed to many players. The scatter gun approach to transfers is never a good idea. Look at Chelsea.

Some terrible buys tho. Lingard was a poor decision.
Yeah you're never going to get them all right. I actually think they've made some good signings but they lack goals. Think a few of their players will have suitors in the summer, Danilo looks very tidy in particular. Some terrible buys tho. Lingard was a poor decision.
Yep, no reason not to. Refs don't do **** about it and you might get an opponent a red.Yet another player going down clutching their face when there was no contact with their face. See it week in, week out now
When you see what’s happened to Sancho part of me hope’s Bellingham stays in Germany.
The problem with Sancho is that he is competing for a position that isn't there.
Rashford is always going to start down the left. We will have a new striker next summer. That leaves Sancho fighting for the right but ETH being typical Dutch loves his right sided cutting in with their left.
Pretty comfortable, should have scored more but some good play. Only added one more injury lol. Think the bench will be filled with kids on Thursday.
Actually, I think part of the problem is that he would be quite happy with that. He isn't showing the desire to play that Rashford is this season or we see from Antony/Garnacho. His head clearly isn't in it. In any case he played right side at Dortmund more often than not and he should be battling with Antony for that slot.Sancho doesn't seem the kind of guy that will want to share game time with say Rashford like City do with their players.
This makes sense but is probably a bit ambitious. In the past the club hasn't wanted to take a hit on players values but in this instance I'd sell Sancho for £50m. He needs to be in a club that has less pressure to perform. He obviously managed that at Dortmund so hopefully he can again. However, 2 seasons in and we've seen the odd flash but not much more than that.Ideal solution would be a p/e with a CM from his old club.
Sabitzer in the warmup.Who got injured?
