Caporegime
Wonder if there will be any investigation into ref/VAR over that, doubt it. Bet it's not even mentioned in the media.
Tissue?
I have to say, that wasn't a great performance by any means. Lingard scored an excellent goal though and De Gea got Shaw out of jail there. Painful at times!
It's true though... not sure anyone is going to worry about Man U's title hopes. they look awful, even with ronaldo.
Rice is not the answer. He hardly ran the game.Well that escalated after a pretty tedious 3rd quarter.
Belter from JLingz. Baffling VAR decision when Ronaldo got cleaned out.
United desperately need a Declan Rice still...

This is why they're not contenders for the league imo. They can't control the midfield which explains the turgid, defensive approach they take against the other top teams, who generally pick them off or at least take a comfortable draw. Unless the other big teams have shockers against the worse sides, United won't win the league as they won't be in the top 2 or so of big 6 in games against each otherUnited desperately need a Declan Rice still...

Noble has a great record tbf
Yeah, I’m still not sure I see the big deal about Rice either.Rice is not the answer. He hardly ran the game.
What do people see in Rice? He was terrible today, Soucek was far better. Even Fred was better than him.
I think Rice is one of those players who is hard to appreciate unless you know what you are looking at and for. Hes in the right places at the right time and stops things happening before they escalate. Hes not like Kante who is very obvious in his buzzing around and energy levels but I think hes very good at what he does. Probably. Hard to say. One of those players you would really miss if he wasn't there, even if you can't quite put your finger on what he does.

I just don't see him as progressive enough. He's tidy for sure and positionally quite astute but I think you need more to play in a really top side. Is he the player that allows you play Pogba in the midfield - ie replaces McFred. I just don't see it. Lets see what sort of season he has. What you can say is that he is probably the best English player in that position. However WHU can foxtrot oscar with their £100m price tag,I think Rice is one of those players who is hard to appreciate unless you know what you are looking at and for. Doesn't matter, you don't bring cold players on to take pressure kicks.
It's a disaster waiting to happen that seemingly happens time and time again.
