And people thought VAR would sort things. :p

I dont mind the odd one but its rare this forum are so unanimous. Not only this forum but u
I havent seen a single person on twitter say it isnt a red for Kane. Referees are having too much of a say on the outcomes of games at the minute. Really awful stuff.

Plenty of goals in this in the second half, wouldnt be surprised to see a red either. I dont think that we have much we can do about the runs of Son/Kane with the current personnel on the pitch so I think we may have to take a we'll score 1 more than you approach

Our midfield is killing us but unfortunately it was always a big possibility with no Thiago, Hendo or Fab. Our only natural sitting midfielder is a kid that's probably not good enough. In possession we've done ok but whenever they turn the ball over they're running straight at our CBs.

The standard of officiating has been appalling. Kane should have gone and I'm not sure how that wasn't a pen on Jota. Literally 1 min later we got a foul for the same challenge on Mane outside the box.

Refs need to be mic'ed up like rugby and American football. Transparency will solve 99% of these problems

Chris Williams of ESPN whos clued up on this kinda stuff.

Potential red card check is a VAR review for a serious missed incident. VAR checks for excessive force and the potential for endangering player safety. That’s how it works, and Kane’s tackle fitted both criteria.

They need to come out and explain that Kane check.

What do you think them being mic'ed up would do? They aren't making decisions that are correct and we are just too ignorant to understand it, they are simply making wrong decisions.

The criteria is there for red cards so if the ref doesn't give one then he doesn't think it fulfils that criteria. All that would happen is that it would invite a horrible atmosphere in stadiums when a ref explains his awful decision.
