Bielsa doesn’t really strengthen, has to much loyalty to players and youth. He’s spent a bit in the summer but half of those players are injured.

We really overestimate how good chances are or at least how often they result in goals. Leeds have scored exactly how many you'd expect them to based on their chances and Utd have scored 2 more than the quality of chances suggested they would.

You only need a couple of tweaks in key areas. A more clinical striker, a more cynical holding midfielder and maybe a CB and your results would improve hugely.

I only realised at HT that one of the stattos shows them live actually :p

It's actually quite interesting when you look at how likely a chance is to be scored. Even that miss from Leeds at the end, it only ends in a goal around 30% of the time.

They just missed an absolute sitter. They should be putting that away

Not sure why people think Leeds are going to go down. They are 7 points clear of relegation and have played a few of the big boys already and they are a good side. Far far worse sides that can't buy goals at the moment in the league. They will be fine.

Well they spent around £100m this summer to get them to where they are, if they can spend that again and spend in on those key areas and spend it well, they're going to be a very strong side.
 
This is a big moment for Ole, despite not playing particularly well we've managed to cobble together some decent form, Champions League disappointment aside.

If he can just get some more balance in the tactics and keep the players motivated, there's no reason our full strength squad can't at least push towards the top of the league, though I don't see a way we can finish above Liverpool regardless.

Maybe some hope on the horizon, but probably not.
