Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 21st Dec 2020]

Naaah, Ole will have a bad run when he gets unlucky with injuries or just generally unlucky. Imagine this team without Fernandes for a few months. He is literally the thing that saved Ole from getting sacked last season.

You could say the same for any team without their top player. Our record without Fernandes is very similar to City's record without De Bruyne I believe.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves slighty regarding Poch and Leeds - Bielsa's not going anywhere any time soon.

I do enjoy how reactive this stage of the season is, especially in close years like this - 2 weeks can completely turn the table on it's head and people go from talking about a manager being at risk to suddenly being in a title fight.

Yea, it's crazy to think that a couple of weeks ago Chelsea and Spurs were going to win the League and they're now both outside the top 4. Utd have swung from disaster to potentially being 2nd and similarly Leicester & Everton, it looked like they were falling away but are both back in the top 4 again. In two weeks it could easily swing the other way in all those instances too.

And not even you have mentioned the mighty Villa smh my head.

Anything is possible until the closing stages

Everton don't really have the squad depth to really mount a Challenge

Leicester under performed last season with the squad they have

Don't count arsenal out either

I think if Fernandes gets injured there will be plenty of players to step up. Pogba can go into his position and VDB can go into Pogba's. There is no doubt we will be worse off without Fernandes but I don't think the drop will be that much.

He's right but he's going to end up getting charged for it. Mason, Taylor, Moss and particularly Cootes are stealing a living as refs.
