Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 4th Jan 2021]

Sadly, this is what happens when your forwards all misfire at the same time. We have absolutely no goal threat anywhere else in the team.

Massive January ahead, we aren't retaining the title without reinforcements.
 
Klopp really has lost the plot, last I don't know how many games have been a carbon copy of little threat but just throw it into the box hoping someone can get on the end of it, Robertson has been just as wasteful as TAA in that regard, when things aren't working for part of a game don't do it for 5 games solid for christs sake.

We have no way of changing it though. We need a proper striker, so when our front three aren't working we can go 4-4-2, Mane and Salah on the wings, and bang in some crosses. Ugly and not how we'd play most of the time but it's a way to change it up
 
Well we got exactly what we deserved, we could have played 270 mins there and wouldnt have managed a goal. Trent probably had the worst match he has ever had for us and I dont know what is going on up front, everyone seems to be obsessed with trying to tee up everyone else instead of just letting fly.

No we won't, this team is levels below without Jota and completely demolished at the back, we'll be picked off easily by your pace in behind. (Granetd I know you guys are trying to play down whats happening whilst 'secretly' getting excited at the continued results)

Anyone who strings together 10 in a row from here will probably win it, lots of oppurtunity for teams/managers that would never win it who are in the mix right now, season is crazy.
 
Good performance against Palace but only because they tried to play football against us.

Most teams that have defended deep against us have not only shut us out but looked like winning. We were lucky not to lose against Fulham, Spurs could've smashed us had they finished better and WBA had the better chances.

Look forward to another identical performance against United and no tactical changes from Klopp.
