Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 4th Jan 2021]

No we won't, this team is levels below without Jota and completely demolished at the back, we'll be picked off easily by your pace in behind. (Granetd I know you guys are trying to play down whats happening whilst 'secretly' getting excited at the continued results)

Anyone who strings together 10 in a row from here will probably win it, lots of oppurtunity for teams/managers that would never win it who are in the mix right now, season is crazy.
My money is on City to walk it from here. They'll probably go on a whopping losing streak now I've said that

Terrible first half, better in the 2nd but still not good enough. Like Newcastle and West Brom we just look a yard off it in the final third. When you're not playing well you need a bit of luck but we're getting none of that too. The handball penalty shout is a bit of a coin flip, sometimes they're given sometimes they're not but the foul on Mane was clear. Mariner had a pretty terrible game throughout though so not a surprise he missed it.

Put the kids out in the FA Cup, get everyone fresh and sign a CB and we might get back on track.

Gods of football are against us. Not much you can do but laugh.
Not really, haven't played well enough in at least 7 of the last 10 games but the manager must take some blame, he sets up to play 1 way and when it's not working has no idea how or will to change it, if we're just going to throw it aimlessly into the box the bring Origi on as law of averages say he'll get on the end of 1 or 2 of them but no lets bring on Shaq and play him as a winger.

A centre back is not going to help us get shots on target or get on the end of cross spamming.

We need a ******* striker.

Trouble is that a striker isnt going to get many games as the preference is always going to be Salah, Mane, Firmino up front (and Jota sometimes) , and any really good striker knows that so is unlikely to want to come.

Arsenal only 10 points off top spot now. In with a shot surely ;).
7 points between 1st and 10th approaching half way through the season. It's going to be an exciting second half and great that so many clubs are involved in the hunt for the title and CL spots. Squad depth looking like a big factor and I feel that favours the Manchester clubs at present. When Liverpool are relying on Shaq to come on and change the game then it gives the rest of us hope.
