the last 3 - 4 results show just why saliba needs to be offered a big contract actually

2nd is still a massive achievement and it gives arteta ammo to ask to be backed heavily in the summer again

We will sign rice and hopefully get another quality CB and next season we will go again

The first 11 hasnt lost the league the squad depth has, first 11 we can beat anyone we've proven it but few injuries and the strength drops off a lot. I doubt we would have drawn the liverpool and west ham games with saliba at the back

This is not the same team that was knocking teams over for fun for 3/4 of the season, at a crossroads, hopefully Arteta can bring in a couple more players and they go again next season with a stronger squad otherwise we'll be fighting to get 4th again

Yeah but when you get a decent lead and have a chance at the title, it's disappointing to bottle it.

City are very good though, ruthless.

They won’t. Whatever issues they had earlier in the season have gone, it’s all clicking and now normal City-gonna-win-every-year service is resumed until Newcastle have spent a billion or two.
 
Regardless of whether arsenal win league arteta is and had shown improvements each season. Fans should be happy considering what came before. I reckon will get over line if stay on same path and have title in next few years problem is city spending etc won't stop

Thats not how expectations work. If you won the lottery tomorrow and then lost it all the day after would you be happy because "i'm no worse off than a week ago".

Arsenal should be going into this game not needing a win but as it stands they have basically thrown away a league title in the past few weeks. They have led for 95% of the season. I would be annoyed if United were in that position and threw it away.

Yes they have had a great season by their own expectations but throwing away a league that they are unlikely to be winning any time soon is frustrating to say the least.

i don’t think they have bottled it to be honest, they have just run out of steam and hunted down by a team that has so much strength in depth it’s unreal, I’m still on the fence if the toon will get top4, if we don’t I won’t think for one second we will have bottled it.
