This new penalty rule is a disgrace

Whoever has come up with that has never played at any level. I’ll bet you wouldn’t find a single Pro who thinks that’s a penalty, or wants those to be a penalty.

If United continue to play like that then they're in for a rough season.
If Woodward doesn’t make any signings after watching that then we’re screwed

but as someone pointed out it just isn’t right the way we are performing at the moment .

for starters I don’t think Pogba deserves a starting place at the minute.

interesting we are back at Brighton on Wednesday for the carabao cup :D

It might get lost in the madness of the end of the game but if the Brighton overturned pen is anything to go by then Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy aren't getting a pen again. That penalty has always been filed under "clever play by the attacker" and the likes of Vardy and Kane have abused it for years.

Not sure it will make much difference for Kane from recent history. 4 penalties in PL for spurs last season and 2 of those he wasn't even on the pitch...

I've wrongly thought Everton have been on the verge of breaking into the top 6 for a few seasons now but the signings of Doucoure and Allan might change that. In fact you could possibly argue that they've got the best and most balanced midfield outside Liverpool and City's. The key for them will be whether Calvert Lewin can keep scoring.
I’m sure Liverpool will get plenty of these type of decisions this year.
I hope so but I suspect we're going to see this new interpretation of deliberate toned down soon. The amount of pens we're seeing can't continue and the one today and the Southampton one last week were really pushing the limits of that interpretation.

.
I think the key is keeping Rodriguez fit, then I fancy Lewin to get the golden boot this year.

Calvert Lewin would have to come close to equalling his goal record from the last 3 seasons combined to do that. I think that's a bit optimistic. If he can end up with high teens, with Richarlison getting into double figures too then Everton will have a very good season. Beyond those two they don't have a huge amount of goals in their side though.

Well those other two season were poor returns, so yes the way everton look to set up now is much different to even last season and he will get far more chances than he did those last 3 years with almost no creativity in the side. I think he can hit low 20's this year. I hope so just for the lol's when United try and buy him for stupid money.

Anyone got any goalie gloves spare? I reckon I could go in nets for Chelsea at this rate. They have to pray this Mendy fella is half decent because their current crop of gks are crap.
