I haven't seen a great deal of Havertz but he doesn't seem to specialise one position. I'm not entirely sure why they've spent a tonne on him and completely neglected their defense.

Was almost like they were just looking at who Liverpool were linked with and then bidding on them

Exactly, I mean he might have a stormer 2nd half, but just seems an odd choice based on what you just said.

So you're saying those errors this season weren't his fault and they were someone elses mistakes?

He wasn't a scapegoat he was ****.

Typical of football fans these days, now Frank is out of his depth and wasting money with no clue and should be sacked. Then they complain managers come in and try to insta build teams by throwing money at it. They have to, if a small run of games goes wrong everyone wants them out.
 
Wouldn’t be surprised if they did comeback with the players they’ve got. Doesn’t hide the fact they’re going to get found out defensively all season.
 
I am a bit late as I was driving to Stansted but Ancelotti has turned out to be a steal for Everton. I can see them breaking into the top 6 or maybe even 4 this season. Have always been a fan of his and was madness when Chelsea sacked him after winning the double!

Also lol at Fat Frank. Cannot wait to see post match presser.
 
Plenty of life still in this game for Chelsea if they start being a bit more clinical, they’ve had a number of very good chances to be level or even winning.
