Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 27th Dec 2020]

Who knows what is and isn't a clear and obvious error with VAR these days in regards to the penalty but the reason why VAR couldn't give the goal was because the ref blew before the ball went in the net.

Leeds lucky to get the win today. Burnley should've had a penalty and they were the better team in the second half.

Having said that, lol at Dyke and his MMA boys.

We've played waaay better a number of times and got spanked so I'll take that. It's like anything nowadays, you get away with a bad decision and just look back to a previous game when you equally got screwed over, swings and roundabouts :p

That's possibly one of the worst decisions ever, the keeper runs full pelt into the back of Mee and apparently gets awarded a free kick...

That really was a shocking decision.

What does it actually take to have refs that can see these days and a VAR system that will point out clear mistakes to the ref!? Imagine the instant and complete meltdown and subsequent rapid changes, if Premier League Rugby was filled with this lot officiating matches! Gobsmacking.

Full strength team for Liverpool today barring the two injured CBs. We should have too much for WBA but it'll be a tough game.

Still no Thiago on the bench and Keita apparently injured again :(

Edit: Keita injury's confirmed. Suffered 'an horrific paper cut' opening Christmas presents on Christmas day and is expected to be out for between 3 and 4 weeks with a severed finger.

Bin Keita off now. "Fitness issue" apparently.

Correct call, you can't say for certain that hit his arm.

As for Keita, I'm hoping it's just a precautionary type of thing. The other week he played then was left out the weekend game and then back midweek. Like Matip he can't play twice a week so hopefully (maybe) he's just being wrapped up with the game on Wednesday in mind.
