I think a change of fortunes tends to be a crawl back to your feet rather than getting straight up as if nothing had happened - they'll take heart from the result and hopefully be able to do a bit better than this next time, and so on until things resemble what they should ideally be.
...unless this is like the United game and they're gash next week again.

It could have been 3-2. A chance for it get levelled at 3-3 may have subsequently occurred but thankfully they didn't get to test that hypothesis out and if any of them have any sense they'll be sleeping soundly tonight rather than fretting about what didn't happen - I know I will.
Onwards and upwards please, the next few games are ones you'd think are winnable if(!) they play like they did today and the way the table is that'd make things look a little less diabolical.
