I wonder whether it's pride. Mourinho or Pep would put Milner on in this situation to regain some control, and take off one of the front three. Still play forward thinking football, just with more of a possession mindset. I think Klopp wants to batter every team he plays, which I love him for, but there are rare situations when that's not appropriate
