Lol, his assists came in 3 games this season, the last being in september. Paul pogba is the most overrated, over hyped player in history. I dont know of any other 'world class' player that needs 2 other midfielders to do all the work.

You can be the best player in the world, but if you've got a **** attitude Klopp isn't signing you. The type of person is just as important as ability for Liverpool's recruitment team.

Also, there's a massive difference between having world class talent and showing it week in week out and Pogba's shown it a handful of time during his entire Man United career. No top team's touching a player as inconsistent and lazy as him with a barge pole. You've got to be on crack to think otherwise.
As for Rashford, which dinner lady is he replacing?

Rashford is 5 years younger than Mane and has scored more goals than him in a worse team the past 3 seasons. His natural position is the same as Mane. I can almost guarantee Klopp would take him as a replacement for Mane going towards the future.
Robertson was relegated with Hull but Klopp has turned him into an outstanding player so judging a player on how a team is performing is hardly a fair mesure.
Bruno Fernandes 28 goals and 17 assists last season and 27 goals and 22 assists the previous season. If you honestly tell me he doesn't get into City or Liverpool side then there is no point carrying on this discussion.

I pointed out ages ago that Fernandes loses the ball 20 times a game and it was argued that he plays risky balls so those numbers will always be high...nice to see nothing has changed.

I think we’re reaching a point now where regardless of ability, players just don’t make the effort or aren’t consistent enough. I doubt many of our players would get into the Liverpool or Man City starting 11’s, perhaps the likes of Cavani would do OK there as a squad player.
The rest are a load of comically overrated players who love a good moan. I don’t think it’s necessarily all about Ronaldo, he’s not causing the likes of Maguire to play at a League Two standard. He is very stroppy though as ever.

This line is why no one's going to take you seriously. You're saying we're blinded by fan bias yet you're completely obsessed with stats rather than how a player would fit in a team. Klopp has built a team that uses fullbacks as the primary source of creativity, the midfield are there to press, win the ball back and play the ball to either fullback or to the forwards. Put Fernandes in our side and our whole team becomes unbalanced.
Do I think Fernandes is a world class midfielder? Yes.
Do I think he suits the way Liverpool play? No.
Would Klopp ever change the way Liverpool play to accommodate him? **** no!

That's still 36 goals and 39 assists (75 goal contributions) in two seasons. Who in Liverpool's midfield has those kind of numbers?
It isn't incredible when United do not have the calibre of manager and backroom staff that City and Liverpool have. In fact it was most on here that said it was the players individual brilliance that took them to 2nd in the league last season rather than what the manager was doing.

Ralph has got to be given a bit of time the ollie era is over now but unfortunately we've been hit by covid so Ralph hasn't been able to do much training with the team time will tell though hopefully we will see a improvement soon just got to hope it doesn't come to late

Fernandes could easily be a replacement for Henderson or Thiago. Fabhino is a special player in the same mould as Kante but that isn't where Fernandes would play.
Why are you including competitions like the Europa League etc in your stats?
No one is denying he's a decent player, his style just doesn't suit Liverpool at all. You can see how little he contributes when everything isnt going through him/you aren't getting as many attacking decision's as shown this season with the addition of Ronaldo.

I think he should make a couple more changes to the starting squad
really nobody was expecting a miracle but I think there has been a surprise with how poor the performances have been.
luckily Rangnick will be going nowhere but I’m not sure what the plan is going forward. Are some of these players going to be sold ? I think in the summer he will have a better idea of who’s right for the way he likes his teams to play. I know the manager could again change but I’d only expect any replacement to be similar in style. As let’s be honest that’s how top teams play and win now
