Newcastle are doing fantastically well. They have spent money but Howe has worked wonders with the existing players too.
I think it’ll actually become more difficult for them as expectation builds, but they’re very much on the right track.

Because its nothing to them. It's pocket change.Remind me why the almighty Pep thought Grealish was worth £100m?
Check that out by Jack ... ugh!Remind me why the almighty Pep thought Grealish was worth £100m?
None of the players of his type who Pep has bought have immediately come in and looked at home. Mahrez, Bernardo, Sterling all took a long time to settle and learn under Pep. Grealish is having to change a huge amount of his game to adapt to the way City play, and he's clearly getting better. He was anonymous last season, whereas this time round he's affecting games. His confidence is completely shot at the moment though. If he can get that back he'll be a valuable player for them.Am I the only one who thinks Grealish is the most overrated player currently playing today? He doesn't actually beat anybody, he tries....but then falls over to get a free kick. His end product, either a pass or shot always gets blocked or misses.
For someone who's job is attacking midfield, he doesn't have the end product of stats to really back it up, it's worse than Miggy when Miggy was crap. I would've thought he would really level up and do some good stuff once he got to Man City but it seems the complete opposite has happened.
He is not getting better, by the evidence so far, last season and the current one, he has got worse compared to his Villa days.None of the players of his type who Pep has bought have immediately come in and looked at home. He's clearly getting better in respect of fitting into City's system, and is affecting games now which he was unable to do last season. He is not getting better, by the evidence so far, last season and the current one, he has got worse compared to his Villa days.
