Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th - 30th Dec 2020]

Would be pretty brutal to lose the league to United after all the stick Ole got early on.

It’s unlikely but they've figured a way to get results and have some great players off the bench.

What a lead we would have had in the league if we could have taken the points against Brom and Newcastle. As it is, if Utd win their game in hand, they are level and if City win their 2 games in hand, they are 1 pt behind

Didn't play great but had enough chances to have won twice over. Need Jota back asap to give us another attacking option and need to sign a CB on the 1st day of the transfer window - we can't defend a set-play to save our lives right now.

Must be watching a different match to me.

We used to press and counter with great effectiveness.

Palace result aside, it seems we try and bore opposition into defeat. We have no dynamism.

Look at Leeds though and they'll run and run, we don't do that anymore.

Of course we play more matches etc but that's no excuse. We only looked arsed in this match in the final 20 and by then everyone's short of confidence because of the proceeding 70.

Appalling no urgency and took way too long passing around the back letting Newcastle get organised at the back, if we’re going to keep crossing aimlessly into the box it may be prudent to invest in Costa for 12 months because at the moment we don’t look like winning many of those crosses.

90th minute brings on Shaq and then they pass it about for the entire injury time is taking the ****, Jurgan needs to sort this out because at the moment there doesn’t seem to be too much in the way of urgency from the entire team.

Are Liverpool 15th or something?

People should focus their energy on Darlow having his arm around Manss bloody leg only for pundits to say he should have gone down so VAR look at it. Two footed challenge in the box on Salah deemed as a good challenge aswell.

You cant make up the hypocrisy atm.
