Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th - 30th October 2022]

This argument also annoys me, if we had done what most said and got slated for which was improve midfield as of 2 years ago to bed the eventual replacements in we wouldn't need to transition as such.

Don't blaspheme by suggesting that maybe our transfer strategy is to blame for the mess we're seeing right now. The everything-is-fine-as-is crew will come after you if you so much as suggest that maybe we should have improved our midfield in prior transfer windows instead of doing nothing and hoping for the best ;):p

It'll just be another period of transition, much like when Klopp first took over. You will have to spend to keep up with he others.

This absolutely has no similarity to when Klopp took over. There's no transition going on. Except for Mane these are the same players struggling to perform the very basic functions due to a combination of players not giving a crap to put in the effort, bad luck and the management's reluctance to properly refresh the squad in prior seasons.

A transition requires a change either in players or way of football. We're doing neither. We're just the same team except that we can't do what we did in the past.

Apparently the live game was supposed to be Liverpool v Leeds, but they played it yesterday instead. Why? I don’t know.

But it means our game can’t be televised
And they wonder why so many people find other ways to watch, I have my season ticket but also subscribe to all sports channels that are UK broadcast but i also have non UK channels to watch the toons away games

what a team to face when your coming off a home defeat :o
Both already through and would need a big Liverpool win by 3 goals to top group so be difficult even if we were flying.

Should rest a few players and just take 2nd place, though another defeat doesn't exactly give you much confidence
