Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th - 30th October 2022]

We arent getting Jude. Not a chance imo. He isnt coming to THIS team. Irrespective of price or wages, he wont want to come to this, if he has any sense. We've been immense over recent years but we are a team on the decline and there seems to be a reluctance to do whats needed to reverse that decline
Arthur should be back soon

I'm with Tombstone, not a chance I see Jude coming to us.

Even if he did he would cost allot but we would still need another anyway. FSG, are not at all likely to buy two expensive players

FSG "I like Jude as much as the next man Jurgen but have you considered John McGinn?"

Look at where Gomez is for that 2nd goal again, come all the way out to the right when theres already 2 Liverpool players there, leaving a hole in his position which is exactly where the ball goes

I preferred it when football used to be fun. Thankfully I'm so busy the last few months that I'm not getting to see much of it.

From the bits I caught, it's truly alarming how open we were again. I was somebody who said we didn't desperately need to sign a midfield this summer - I was very wrong but the midfielder we needed to sign a replacement for wasn't Henderson or even Milner, it was Fabinho. With all the stick that's gone other players way he's had a bit of a free pass but his drop off has been the worst and by a distance. I'm starting to wonder if he's pregnant and not his Mrs - he can't run and his turning circle is like a cruiseship.

He is actually there to be the safe feet to arnolds crazy feet lol, not working.

Only good thing about today is that my acca for Dortmund, Barca and Juve to win came in (thanks to a last minute Barca goal), so at least I've got £75 quid in the pocket

Shocking performance, shocking result but not surprising any more.

Our midfield is a massive problem, our injuries are a joke so if FSG made the decision not to back Klopp and reinforce the midfield in the summer, as many believe, I wouldn't blame him if he walked. If, on the other hand, Klopp chose to stick with what he had, it's on him and I wouldn't be surprised to see him sacked if result don't improve before the WC starts.

Either way, he's certainly not doing much to change our fortunes currently and appears to either be incapable or unwilling to try and find a solution to stop gifting our opponents chance after chance every game.

I've been saying this for a while - we've needed a young player / one who doesn't mind being benched a fair bit to rotate in for Fab. I said a couple of years ago (while he was at Fulham) that that player was Anguissa, and after he took us apart at Napoli I stand by that!

I am no astrologist but normally when Liverpool become rubbish United begin to rise. Hopefully that is the case now.

On a more serious note both Liverpool and United need to be sold to rich countries because they both will not be able to compete over longevity. What Klopp has done with Liverpool is nothing short of amazing but eventually your luck runs out.

Klopp won't say it and the players won't but I genuinely belive majority of them are burnt out.

I don't think we strengthened enough when we should have in the summer, I've said it past two summers the midfield has needed work and been shot down everytime...turns out I was right.

I also think even Klopp himself looks knackered tbh
