Newcastle are way ahead of schedule as well and they haven’t really spent yet either. They’ve can still spend after the Ashley era of not spending as well.

Interesting times ahead. Wonder if they go out and sign someone or keep the squad as it is.

Carra is 100% right. As much as we can praise the recruitment in defence and attack, it's been abysmal in midfield and they need to be held responsible. We now need to sign 3-4 first-team midfielders within the next 2-3 transfer windows and they all need to be miracle signings, or this era of Liverpool being a title contender and regular champions league team is going to end.
 
Im back in Newcastle for Christmas / NY. There’s a tangible excitement in the air these days, that club is the heartbeat of the city and it’s thriving.
That said like a win tonight is a step too far imo. 2-0 loss. No shame in that.
