On what basis? That it's cynical? If that was your team and this was a close game it would be great defending and taking one for the teamThats a red, should be a lengthy ban too imo.
People have short term memories. It has been up and down but under Ole we have played some of the best football since Fergie at certain periods of the past 18 months.
He was given it on the basis of two previous serial winning managers failing.

There's cynically tripping somebody and then there's kicking somebody. Shaw's challenge was the latter and I can remember Rooney getting a red years ago for doing what Shaw done.On what basis? That it's cynical? If that was your team and this was a close game it would be great defending and taking one for the team
Our front 3 is fast and exciting and Fernandes has given us a quality number 10. We have still looked badly coached and entirely reliant on our attackers doing something special.
Lol @ Luke Shaw for that one.
Now THAT was a red card, unlike the earlier incident.
Ref evening up maybe.
But there was no violent intent, he just tripped him over.Nope, that should be a long ban too. IF you want to take one for the team pull his shirt back, taking a player out in that fashion should be violent conduct.
Yes, but the rest of your team has gone backwards. Ole seems to have absolutely no concept of controlling a game, he just relies on a good front 4 to dig him out of troubleOur front three have vastly improved under Ole compared to Jose. This game today is just a culmination of everything that has been happening the past month.
He didn't just trip him though. Had he just tapped his ankles it would have brought him down and then there's no question it's just a yellow. He's instead taken a hack at the back of his legs. But there was no violent intent, he just tripped him over.
No they weren't similar. Son didn't hack Gomes down.Remember when i said Son should have been sent off for what he did to Gomes and no one agreed? Very similar and he should have walked.
Yes, I remember, and you're still wrong imoRemember when i said Son should have been sent off for what he did to Gomes and no one agreed? Very similar and he should have walked.

Yes, it was deeply cynical and arguably the rules should be amended to make that kind of challenge a red, but under the current rules to me it's smart defending. 15 years ago when the Italians were the best defenders in the world people loved them for that kind of challenge

Not really, he dived in front of Lucas and Lucas went over him. If he'd gone through his legs then I agreeHe didn't just trip him though. Had he just tapped his ankles it would have brought him down and then there's no question it's just a yellow. He's instead taken a hack at the back of his legs.
