I can’t stop watching MacAllister’s disallowed goal, such a peach of a hit. Gutted for the lad.

He made up for it with the free kick!

It will be interesting to see if Brighton can keep up their performances as they have been playing brilliantly. I know it was against a poor Leicester side today but they looked very good going forward.

whats ya point? they are still teams that have taken points off liverpool and city

My point is Arsenal have played teams that are in the bottom half of the table and now they meet one in the top half they lost! Quite simple really. Will be interesting how this pans out in the middle of October after playing Spurs, City and Liverpool.

We have already played Liverpool and yourselves so that is 2 games out of 12 already out of the way with wins.

Arteta has shown today why he is still a noob and will never take you anywhere. Just remember Arsenal are a team built from over three transfer windows. Ours is 2 months old so the improvement is only going to get better whilst Arsenal have already Plateaued.

What Potter has dome there is fantastic. Despite losing Cucurella and Bissouma they have ready made replacements. Add to that some shrewd transfers and they look solid. My only concern would be the lack of an out and out goalscorer but 5 today suggests it might not be a huge problem. They also play really nice stuff. A template in football club ownership, management and coaching.

We’ll still finish above utd end of this season

Regardless of playing us and liverpool you got battered by brentford and lost to brighton

Lets see how you do against palace away next weekend. Easy lower half team remember

So, we drop Maguire, give the captaincy to Fernandes and win 4 on the bounce including home wins vs traditional top 6 rivals. The spirit is better than it's looked for months and we see glimpses of decent play for periods in games. Coincidence?

Good progress EtH, lets see the next steps and please god Martinez be ok.

Dropping Maguire has been a revelation. The problems for the rest of the season is that Varane isn't likely to be injury-free for long and we shipped Bailey out on loan.

The squad is still light and a bit on the old side however there can be no complaints about recent performances, given the first two games.

What is ridiculous is that it's been obvious for AGES that Maguire is rubbish.

Eriksen has also been very good recently.

I'm glad some of my rants have been shown as just being rants. There's long season ahead though! ETH must be backed in future transfer windows if we are to play at the highest levels.

Its one game and you can't take much from it. The league and results are all over the place at the moment. Liverpool win 9-0 then scrape a win next game. City smash 6 in and then should have lost the next game.

If Arsenal can keep their key players fit (I think Jesus will be the biggie) then they could have a good season.

I just hope that there are 6 or so teams all fighting for the top 4 places for the whole season.

Which you should do. Arteta has had over three years to build a team. Finishing behind us this season would be embarrassing.

Your club need to stop sacking managers

Nah, you need to sack managers when its clear that they can't deliver. That is why we imploded so spectacularly eventually. Ole should never have got the job full time and should have been replaced far earlier than he was.

The only thing worse than not giving a manager time is giving them too much time.

On an unrelated note, I always thought Christian Eriksen was about 5'6". Lads 6 foot tall. Whoda thunk it.

You’ve just blew a quarter of a bill on players i dont think majority of utd fans the players or the owners think you should be finishing behind arsenal

Already making excuses……

The next 6 weeks with Europe will say a lot.

Thankfully for us we are starting to see some lads come back. Jota and Matip both back with Thiago training tomorrow.

We also.overpaid! You have to remember that there is a price everyone else pays and a price that Man United pay. Plus the market has gone crazier than ever.

The scary thing is they need to spend even more if they want to compete/win at the highest levels. The question is, will they?

Ain't ole been your best manager since Mourinho was there (who you also sacked)?

Are you implying that we should sack Arteta?

I mean Man United dont HAVE to pay the money if they dont want to...there is a choice to be made there.
