Newcastle are safe. Whether it's Leeds fans worrying or those writing off Everton, we need to remember how terrible Burnley are. I'd be surprised if Burnley (or Watford) manage to pick up more than 10 points between now and the end of the season, meaning 4-5 points is enough for Newcastle and Leeds.

If Burnley are terrible what does that make Everton after tonight's game?

I can't see Everton picking any points up, until they play Watford in May, they might be dead and buried by then.

What does it make Everton? 1 point better than Burnley, which some people seem to forget. I'm not defending Everton, nor am I saying they're not in serious risk of going down but people writing them off are ignoring the fact that Burnley have been just as bad. In fact their recent form is identical, even after today's game - 4 losses and 1 win from their last 5.

None of the sides down there look like they're going to pick up 12+ points between now and the end of the season. It's going to come down to the odd goal and odd result which is why I can't see Brentford, Newcastle or even Leeds getting dragged back into danger. And I do think Everton are going to sneak a couple of wins from their home games that might just save them.

As bad as Everton are, I just think there are three teams that are worse. The teams currently occupying the bottom three will go down.

That said, Burnley haven't actually lost that many games compared to the others. They just don't win very often. Beating Everton has given them a glimmer of hope and Everton have tough games coming up.

Evertons fixtures through to the end of the season are horrific.

Utd
Leicester
Liverpool
Chelsea
Leicester
Watford
Brentford
Palace
Arsenal

I could easily see Everton getting 0 points from their next 5 games.

On current form Everton will be relegated.

Who would you rather have in charge of your relegation battle, Lampard or Hodgson?

That game last night showed exactly what them players were about. DCL absolutely shocking, would much rather parade around in a school girls uniform for a fashion company than put himself about on the pitch for his team, he epitomises the modern day footballer, cringeworthy. Used him as a example of how toothless they have been this season.

Half of them are playing wondering who they will sign for next season if they go down.

Not only is Everton's run in horrendous, but they are a total shambles at the back.

Franks just not the man, Everton have too much quality to go down. He's looked broken for months.

The blame starts at the top with the owner. Hiring poor managers and allowing the buying of rubbish players on high wages and long contracts.

Moshiri has destroyed the club, and I'm confident we will go down, but if we don't come straight back up then we're in massive trouble!

I didn't agree with the Lampard coming in as manager...and yes he has to take some responsibility as it's his job to get the players giving 100%. But when you look at the squad, most of the players are Championship quality at most.

I suspect in the summer Pickford will go to Spurs, DCL to Arsenal and Richy will go to PSG.

None of this is down to Frank, yeah people want to beat him up about it because of who he was and who he played for. That and being the best midfielder of his generation while trying to force the pair of them into England upsetting Gerrard. Klopp couldn't have rescued everton this year. They don't have quality at all, it was evident last year when the wheels came off under CA.

You can't blame a guy that's had zero impact in the transfers and the players make 3 individual errors. He's unfortunate to have to try and do something with a club thats been mismanaged for years. Let manager after manager waste 10's of millions on dross and keep going back for more.

Everton should have gone back to Moyes, but the fans wouldn't have it. The outrage on the Everton forums when it was even suggested. Yet he's about the best there is to get a team playing on a small loan based budget.

No doubt about it, Everton are done.

Just why on earth have you said this?

You're correct when you say Everton have been mis managed...they have...and he's mis managing them now. You think Klopp allows Dele Alli in? Absolutely not. Dont give me this "he signed on Lampards first day" nonsense, he will have known all about it. If he didn't, He's an idiot.
