VAR has become a lottery. I actually don't know what it brings to the game anymore.
It's the whole "clear and obvious" thing that just confuses everything. Either just bin VAR for subjective decisions or allow the VAR to make the correct decision - no more "it's the wrong decision but is it clearly wrong enough to overturn?". All we're getting is the same inconsistencies we used to get but with added controversy because nobody will accept the same mistakes being made with video assistance.

I think he's quality - looked like a player while he was at City to me as well. He's got real awareness, just hadn't developed enough back then to make the most of it
