Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th Apr - 2nd May 2021]

Anyone involved in any sort of violence or breaking into the grounds should just be banned for life from the grounds. No excuse especially for any sort of violence.

They have been driven to it though. I understand it is just a game and it is but to some it is their life and almost like their father.

The root cause of the Glazers "ownership" is the issue that needs to be addressed at least to protect other clubs from becoming the same.

Were they not Man U fans then?

With respect, you know what you meant. Throwing around flippant comments that could be aimed at all fans.

Moving on, liking Carragher's comments here. However, major hypocrisy all round though given that Sky and the PL have driven the money in football of late.

How will banning them from the ground stop them if they're committing crimes? crime is a matter for the justice system.

Ohh right, what other fans have had violent protests attacking the police and leaving a nasty scars to people's faces lately?

They are Man U fans and they shall be called so.

Driven to it :D Bore off. Must be so hard being second in the league and spending a ******* fortune every summer.

I'm not defending that, it's terrible, but it's still a serious minority whether you agree or not. I'm sure you'll be happy to clarify you were only referring to the ones in the ground causing trouble, or outside the hotel, then it's fine.

Of course I'm referring to the ones causing trouble. Chelsea had a good peaceful protest the other week and I was very happy to see it and they did it in the right manner, no violence I'm aware of and they didn't cause a game to be postponed.

What’s the punishment for not being able to keep a ground safe for a match to be played? Fines or points?

If the punishment isn’t harsh, fans will do similar next time fixture congestion could decided a season (or any time Kane is injured for Spurs).

I was listening to 5 live on the way home and pretty much every fan agreed and ranging from Brentford to Spurs fans. It has got nothing to do with the performances. Old Trafford is a rusty old shell and has no money spent on it for a decade. Football clubs are meant to be about supporting and improving the community not lining the pockets of some American leaches.

I love the way pretty much all media are either twisting things or cannot use free speech because of politics.

Should have been a forfeit. Watch them have another go the next home game if nothing happens.
