Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th Aug - 1st Sept 2022]

We need to start imposing our own pace on these games. We are far too comfortable playing at Leicesters slow pace and we haven't punished them as much as we should as a result. They are there for the taking and we are making hard work of it because we think that what we are currently doing is "enough".

Some teams look solid at 1-0 and you know they will just see it out.

We have a tenancy to invite pressure and incentive other woeful bottom of the league teams to have ago.

When we are 1-0 we dont seem as hungry to go 2-0 for unknown reasons.
 
There are so many little moments where McTominay doesn't have any composure or quality. He clears a lot of headers but the only time they are useful is when its clearing a cross into the box. Otherwise he never heads it to another one of our players or brings it down when he should. When he should play it quickly he runs with the ball. When he should break through the lines he stops and plays the safe pass.

There are so many of these moments that a better player would make more of.
