Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 7th November 2021]

Ah well, got beaten by the better team today but it took three howlers from Alisson for them to score. He's been fantastic for us this season so he's allowed one poor game, Mane less so.

Origi fouling Mane :D

Same obvious issues for Liverpool, if you exclude Alisson's errors they still should've scored two of those.

David Moyes is a football genius :(

Rubbish game that, most of the team were off the pace. Midfield were poor, left hand side with Robertson and Mane (in particular) were both just horrific. Allison had a shocker. We've had a few of these games recently, whole team seems to switch off as soon as the opposition team score. Needs rectifying.

I hope they all get a good telling tomorrow after the Utd win we have just looked lazy

get back to the basics and start again.

Well that was as bad as we can play both defensively and going forward. We were far too tentative both in and out of possession and allowed West Ham to play their game. The game may have been different had Cresswell been sent off but we deserved nothing from our performance.

Pre pandemic West Ham fans were storming the directors box demanding Moyes out etc. games behind closed doors and West Ham have a bit of time to build and Moyes has actually turned them into a force, shows how much can change if time to gel/work is allowed and not constant knee jerk reactions.

Or the Everton fans that desperately didn't want him back when they first let Carlo ***** the cash and now put up with Rafa. Everton fans must be regretting not having him now, especially as they have had to tighten the purse strings again, not many finer in those situations than Moyes. In fact he's worse when he does have cash.

I'd have put my house on Liverpool today, Moyes doesn't have a good record against them. I shouldn't be shocked the way West Ham have been playing but I am. Liverpool will bounce back.

Just take the L, tragic Liverpool performance which is strange considering the energy they conserved mid week knocking it about for half an hour.

Not the point. If youre going to say "fair and square" then Cresswell would have walked and West Ham play 70 mins with 10 men plus the first goal 9 times out of 10 is disallowed for a foul on the GK.

Liverpool deserved absolutely nothing but the ref was bloody awful.

Top 4 battle is going to be interesting this year. I really thought it would be a procession for the likes of City, Chelsea, Liverpool and United, but it’s so open. Those 4 plus the likes of West Ham and Arsenal, maybe even Spurs if Conte gets them going.

Gonna be a fun one imo.

If we go by what happens weekly then that's a foul on Alisson.

No it isn't, I'll have a pint of what you're drinking if you think that's a foul.

This wasn't given as a foul and there was more player contact on the keeper than tonight.

So just because this wasn't given means it wasn't a foul?

I suppose Cresswells tackle wasn't a red then?
