Michael Oliver was hoping Liverpool equalised there. Liverpool are definitely in some sort of serious slump, just don't look right and there's nothing wrong with their starting XI.

Liverpool are ***** and that game went about as expected except for Arsenal failing to punish a few more moments. They weren’t particularly in danger often except the goals they conceded
Not sure if they nullified those long balls to Salah or they were just at the peak of their shitness but he was more involved in the 2018 CL final

Haha are you serious? I just watched City spank us 6-3 last week and both teams today are far far off what they are capable of.
No one remembers second place finishers. Just ask Spurs fans. Sky try and build up the drama but City are walking this.
If I was a Liverpool fan I would be going to the park and planting some Peace Lillys next weekend than watch City as you will end up with a stroke. Lol

No matter Liverpool’s start to the season there was still a psychological hurdle to overcome with this fixture and I think for the most part we did pretty well overcoming it. May the days of getting pumped in these games be behind us… (touch wood).

Did people belittle the spurs win? That is the only big game challenge so far and obviously did well
He has plenty of credit in the bank from the last 7 years

Manchester United were top at Christmas a couple of seasons ago with Ole at the wheel.
He does but it's still football remember, FSG could worry and decide otherwise.
(I don't ovs want him to go, it's a slump still deserve every chance to turn it around)
It's a long old season, as we saw with Solskjaer and Man Utd, a good run of a few games doesn't guarantee anything long term. Arsenal are certainly doing well though, better than I was expecting.
The World Cup break is going to add a different dimension to the season too.

In the current form Liverpool might not even get Europa League football next season. I can’t see them beating City, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea or Newcastle.
