That is a horrific decision (rule or otherwise).

However - we have been very wasteful here, played well but messed up so many decent chances.
Might as well allow any forward to have one optional touch with their hand to control the ball in the box if that goal is anything to go by. Outrageous.

So as long as you don't put it into the net yourself you can control the ball using your hand? I have seen a number of those given as fouls all over the pitch this season.

I mean if he means to control it, i dont think the ref could say he's meant to do that...but its been given as accidental.

I dont like i personally and preferred it how it was.

I mean its borderline retarded. If you get a clear advantage from a handball then it should be a foul. How it isn't is beyond me. I mean, why wouldn't you stick out an arm in the box if you are allowed to use it if you need it. As long as you don't move the arm towards the ball its accidental and alright.

umm the ref didn't get it wrong, he made the correct decision as per the new rules this season.
Those rules only apply to accidental handballs. Handballs will still be given no matter where in the build-up they occur. Given how far the Boro players arm was from his body I'm amazed that they didn't call that as a handball.
