Looked like a bad decision. Especially in retrospect. The law does depend on the referee thinking the control of the ball was intentional though and I can see why he didn’t.
that kind of “handball” is often let go, just not very often in the box, rarely when it results in a goal and even more rarely on TV and then even less often at OT when it’s the visiting team.
