But they aren’t even remotely the same thing

I find that so much worse than the push.
Then again I'm not surprised some people here are downplaying one of the events.

Mitrovic is screaming in the refs face and looks like he’s about to chin him
After the red card yeah... Oh and you see players get in referee's faces like that every week!

It’s lazy (and hilarious) to just accuse me of bias. I don’t even like Bruno much - he’s annoying.

Mitrovic’s conduct was more aggressive than normal - not sure how anyone with eyes can disagree.

Keith Hackett has (I'm sure even the young utd fans here know who he is) essentially said they are both the same thing - Fernandes and Mitrovic. They were both red card offences in that you can't push match day officials. Then again I'm not surprised some people here are downplaying one of the events.

And an ex-ref who basically backs the ref in every situation has said that Fernandes should probably have got a yellow and the Mitrovic one was 100% a red.

They aren't similar. One should have been a yellow and the other is going to be a lengthy ban.

Which ex ref? the clown that does ref watch on Sky?

The linesman started it

He's tried to stop Bruno from retaliating after he kicked Trent off the ball. Bruno then pushes him.

Clear as day a red card.

Any hands on officials should be a red. Obviously the length of the ban should be relevant to the offence. Bruno should have got 3 games and Mitrovich definitely deserves more than that.
