As I posted months ago, the first team might be good enough to win the league but the squad isn’t - depth all over the pitch and to be near perfect is the only way the league won’t turn into an annual procession for City. Draw or sneak a late, late win, this won’t change the fact steam is running out fast. Bit depressing in the moment, but ultimately this summer we‘ll be an attractive prospect for a lot of players with CL football and being able to provide credible competition for City so can hopefully make this more than a one-off.
