Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 12th February 2024]

All supporters should want their club to be the best they can be but it's more than that. Football is meant to be fun, it's meant to be entertaining and for most weeks it's not when you've got David Moyes as your manager. I'm sure if you gave West Ham fans the choice of Moyes finishing 8th or playing better football and the likelihood that they'll finish 12th, most would accept and enjoy the latter more.

Your question is if they rather finish 12 and play nice football.

My question from the start is whether they would get relegated and play nice football.

I guess we know the answers to both....so will leave it there.

Onana actually made two saves. Things are looking up!
This game is too open though and United will concede - they are being played through as per usual - Maguire and Varane 10 yds deeper than last week and Casemiro/Bruno still not recognising when the game needs shoring up for a few minutes

Your question is a massive extreme though. It's like a kid complaining that he doesn't like his dinner and offering him tasty food poisoning as an alternative. It would take a huge collapse for West Ham to be in Burnley's position, something that's not likely to happen if they replaced Moyes. Realistically if they replaced Moyes the worst that will happen is West Ham drop down to the lower mid table positions.

Have West Ham given up on life? I just watched the highlights and it was comical.

The league position doesn't lie - Villa are a better team than United at present and we don't beat teams above us generally. Hope we can hold on until at least half time.

My question is my question and I can propose my question the way I see fit...

But it has it's basis, it's not if West Ham wasn't in a relegation battle before Moyes took the job for the 2nd time....so it is perfectly valid to me.

I don't even understand why that was a corner, shouldn't it have been offside? Two players trying to distract the keeper, how is that not active?

McGinn has been more effective than Fernandes in this game despite the fact that he looks about 10kg overweight. Decent half but need a bit more from Rashfrd.
