There’s 10 players injured lad. 10 any team would struggle.
+1 We always knew the CL was going to stretch our thin squad but I don’t think anyone was expecting quite this many injuries.
I’d rather drop out of Europe all together than drop down to Europa.

Toon fans were delirious at getting into the champs league last season, a few months later and they want out of it!

there are 10 players out injured because of the extra games and the depth of the squad, we have been basically playing twice a week since the end of august
Don’t get me wrong, I’m stoked that we made top four last season and getting Champions League football back on Tyneside is great.
Getting to the knock-outs would be amazing, but if we don’t get out of the group, I’d rather it was no Europe at all than Europa.
10 players out is nearly half a squad. I don’t care who you are any team would struggle with that number unavailable. Howe was rotating.
Quite a few were freak injuries also and one mental health problem

It's okay according to everyone you should be able to cope. Just like United.
we should be playing better tho. Bournemouth should be 5 up lol

There have been 4 CL games so far and had you not been in Europe you'd have played an extra League Cup game. So an extra 3 games across 3 months. I think you're over doing it a bit.

Which annoys me when pundits and radio praise Spurs as this newborn awesome club. They are playing 1 game a week they should be doing fantastic.
Instead they are a mere 5 points above United who have had their worst start to a league in 50 years.
Wouldn’t have it any other way. Even if it’s in the other two European cups
