A little of both I suspect, some of Villas defending has been shocking

Half a dozen people on the forum have them as finishing in the top 4 in the predictions thread. Its only the first game of course but if they play like this they arent going to make the top 8 let alone the top 4
These longer games are really going to expose fitness levels.

I felt the toon had spells where we've struggled and the scoreline flatters us a little. Still to smash villa on the opening day. Very happy. The bench being strong is also cool.

I saw a stat a couple of weeks ago where without Mings, they let in a lot more goals...so they are going to be in trouble.
