I already thought they would struggle in the league this year with the players they lost that have been game winners at crucial moments. I think this title race will be the most open for a while because losing KDB is huge. I think City will be runners up this year now, I just don't know who beats them.

Arsenal or Newcastle.

I think way too many pundits writing off Newcastle because of how many games they have. If they focus on the Champs and League and field a b team for the cups they will be sound. They have a bigger quad this season and even though they were not in Europe they still had decent cup runs last season.

Isak seems like a good striker to have in your team too. I think he will bag them in this season behind Haaland.

Not a chance where in with a shout of winning the league this year
 
Last season Newcastle had a dip in form when they had some cup games didn't they?

It does require a different level of squad management (and quality) in order to maintain a high performance level.

We will know where we’re really at come 10pm Saturday, we only ever get tonked at city and tend to concede within 20 mins. So if we manage to get a draw out of them and put up a good showing, I might start to believe we’re in with a shout.
