We've also got 2 more coming up after international breaks in thr next 6 odd months, the amount of lunchtime kick offs we have after these breaks is ridiculous

To spread some positivity re: Banterchester United.

This could be the first time in a long time where we play with an actual striker who can be bothered to play. If Amrabat starts as well then it could also be the most balanced team we've had out for a while.

A tough match either way though. Draw?

Agreed on Hojlund, looking forward to watching him. But to live up to our banter status, Amrabat is injured

Alisson, Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Robertson, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Jota, Salah, Gakpo.

Nice that Quansah gets a start done well when given chances before

Does the extra 2.5 hours really make that much difference?

part of his point was that at lunchtime yesterday, at the actual time he was giving his press conference and being asked about his lineup, he hadnt seen or spoken to three of the players that would be considered regular starters, and KO was less than 24 hours away.

I know why Liverpool get picked for 1230 KOs, it’s not some kind of conspiracy, it’s because Liverpool are proper box office and it’s a good opportunity to put teams like wolves and Bournemouth on the telly and fulfil the quota. The added bonus is that Liverpool have more than their fair share of senior South American players so weakening them this way, especially in away games as these 1230 kos more often than not are, improves the chances of their being an televised upset.

it’s that fair? Of course it isn’t, but that’s the premier league.

Never a yellow that, ref is setting a precedence if that is a booking for the "intent" of tugging the player back with his arm, that means that every single reach out of the arm should now be booked for "intent" of pulling them back
