So if it all goes to pot for ETH who will utd fans blame this time?

Yet again another manager that’s had money and same problems persist

Owners I agree need to go but the amount of money each manager has had can’t be disputed

Owners.

Owners have been pathetic. Look at the state of the club off the pitch and it’s showing on the pitch.

Culture at the club is shocking.

It is that’s why they need to go I agree (well no keep them as I never want utd doing well :p)

However every manager has spent a ton of money so pitch performance shouldn’t be as bad as has been really

I do wonder if this cohort of United players are coachable. They seem unable to form a shape of play like this Brighton B team or adapt to any tactical change from the opposition. The pressing is half arsed and seldom as a unit. Add to that the outright selfishness of our forwards at times. Very frustrating to watch and in many ways disgraceful when you consider the relative resources of the two teams playing today.

There is so much going on in the background it isn't helping at all. Plus our injury record is really bad basically since the season has started.

You can see what ETH is trying to achieve with this team but it just isn't clicking yet. Problem is the media are hounding him like crazy.

Outside of Newcastle our start is also one of the hardest.

It's mental how they think onana is any sort of upgrade on ddg. It's literally karius all over again except we didn't ***** 50 million on a guy that was available on a free 12 months earlier.

I just seen this. I get that the guy can play out from the back and that was the weakest point of DDG game but if you can’t make basic saves and continue to flog goals surely it’s better over the season to just launch it ddg style and keep the games at 0-0?

They got away with it against Wolves, that realistically should have been 1 point.

Notts, the team saved his bacon big time.

Arsenal wouldn’t have scored the first or second so that massively changes the out come of the game.

I refuse to believe or even fathom that him being able to pass to the defenders means United would be far better off.

I get the point but I think you are clutching at excuses. Look at the Brighton team - decimated with sales and impacted by injuries but they still can play the coherent, Brighton way. Very well coached team and a team that does as it's coach tells them to. They've been the better team in terms of control after the first 15 mins. They've made one chance and scored it and look completely in control. Now we are trying to argue for offsides and goal line technology decisions. On the plus side, Hojlund took his chance well and looks lively but our midfield is woeful, Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes and McSauce should not be being outplayed by this Brighton team.

Well, they’re terrible at negotiation so paying far more than they should. They also **** around so much at panic. It also means on relying on loans for tin pot players because the structure is so bad. They then become essential to the team, weg played a crazy amount last season. He shouldn’t even have been at the club!! You’ve got a spurs reject starting today! Insane.

Where does the blame lie then?

If football were the priority for this club ten Hag would have had his signings and outgoings by mid July and we would have had a full pre-season that didn't involve playing meaningless matches in 10 different cities and 4 time zones. I think the manager has to be given more support so ultimately it's the ownership and management of the club who aren't 100% supporting the development of the team. Ask yourself why we've got so many injuries?
