Yeah the Onana criticism is baffling, you won't find a better keeper in the bottom half of the table.
From what I saw from him at inter and the goals youve conceded far he's not an upgrade on de gea in anyway apart from he can play a simple 20 yard pass. hell, his positioning is atrocious for the 3rd most expensive keeper ever for a start. But he shouted at maguire so he's great yeahOk, and so far he's not really done a lot wrong, people are just relentlessly focused on his every move.
He's better than De Gea, especially on the ball. His other stats are fairly similar.
We are a banter club
So you were happy with the Forest player running half the pitch and your keeper didn't even leave the 6 yard box to close him down, then falling on his arse.Onana hasn't really put a foot wrong so far, only "mistake" he made was slipping over for the first Forest goal which is pretty harsh. None of the other goals he'd be expected to save. Before this game he had a post shot xG of 4.5 against him and he's conceded 4. He's doing fine.
Could be good experience for a battle in the bottom half though.A back two of slabhead and evans really isn’t the back 2 you want in these situations
I do.Come off it. There is no way people think he’s the best in the league.
He slipped over, are you seriously complaining about a player slipping? There were mistakes from both Rashford and AWB in the build up to that which were far worse. So you were happy with the Forest player running half the pitch and your keeper didn't even leave the 6 yard box to close him down, then falling on his arse.
Come on, he slipped because he got in a pickle, your keeper needs to be closing the player, reducing the angle down, not rooted to the 6 yard box line looking like he doesn't know what to do. It was comedy gold moment. Jelly writs today for the 2nd today like I said, stick some boots on his hands and he will be a superstar. He slipped over, are you seriously complaining about a player slipping? Salah wouldn't have been offside at the end todayI do.
The second was deflected at close range. Have you ever watched football before? No keeper is expected to get that.Come on, he slipped because he got in a pickle, your keeper needs to be closing the player, reducing the angle down, not rooted to the 6 yard box line looking like he doesn't know what to do. At the same age? I don't recall him being amazing when he was at ChelseaSalah wouldn't have been offside at the end today
Plenty, but when you are used to flappy De Gea I expect you are used to it. I would be pretty annoyed if my keeper let the 2nd goal in today. The funny thing is
