Awful performance, fantastic result.

A vintage post international break performance from us today. We really struggled to get going and control the game today and looked far too open defensively. A win's a win though and on the balance of play and chances created, it would be hard to argue that it wasn't deserved.
On their pen, it very probably was outside the area however there wasn't much VAR could do thanks to the ridiculous way we use it. The onfield decision was my biggest issue as officials are meant to have a far greater degree of certainty when awarding pens and there's no way he could have had that there.
