Amorim is a smart guy and knows exactly what he wants, he'll quickly work the players out. His focus is on effort, energy and playing as a team. He's not interested in individual brilliance, something we've relied on for years now.
You've got to have a lot of conviction to do that. Fingers crossed the fans will stay on his side if he does stick to that from the start because the media will be out for blood.
I think thats been a massive issue for us over the years since Fergie left. The likes of Rashford end up on silly money because when you aren't doing well as a team, they are the players that dig you out of holes from nowhere.
Short termism at its worst but it get you instant results vs the harder task of building a well functioning team.
