I wonder if the VAR fire was a clear and obvious one.

Didn’t see the deflection either. Ah well, 1-1 is about right, for now. Imagine we’ll be better in second half once Amorim’s shouted at them.

If by "as the half goes on" you mean after the first 10 minutes, yes. Ipswich have about 50% more energy and movement than us. They are pressing well and making us make mistakes. Every player receiving the ball is under pressure. Ipswich however are finding they have little pressure on them and loads of space.

I think the Casemiro/Eriksen/Evans combination was always going to struggle, and always will.
 
Ipswich are second from bottom. I couldn't care less about "getting used to tactics". These players cannot be bothered.

Basket case of a club. ETH is the lucky one as he got millions in his back pocket and his wife is most likely rubbing sun cream into his head as I speak.
 
Amad has done well, back three look ok but midfield is offering little in either direction. Agree with Fez in that the energy has be upped and I can't see that CM pairing ever doing that. Eriksen doesn't even make many good passes. Garnacho has wasted two or three chances to play Rashford in and you have to say that we created little after the goal. Dalot is, well Dalot - full of enthusiasm but lacking any sort of quality or composure. At least we have options.

Amorim is a smart guy and knows exactly what he wants, he'll quickly work the players out. His focus is on effort, energy and playing as a team. He's not interested in individual brilliance, something we've relied on for years now.
