Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 3rd December 2023]

Do you think it’s too early to say City, Arsenal and Liverpool will be top 3 this year? Theres other decent sides, but I can’t see any of them having the consistency of those 3. Spurs have got to go quite a while without 2 of their best players and Villa and Newcastle seem to drop points where they shouldn’t a bit too often.

Got to admit, Erling does a great Gollum impression

I think that’s about right. Newcastle and Spurs’ chances have been wrecked by injury but will be tough opponents to any side once most players are back.

There’s a lot of good sides in the Premier League this season (and just as many terrible ones).

Yeah, Heckingbottom is absolutely not the reason why Sheffield United are in the position they’re in. Sadly, owners never take responsibility for their own mistakes and he’s an easy scapegoat.

I can only imagine that the ref was too embarrassed by his mistake to card Haaland.
What ever the ref’s mistake Haaland should have been carded what on earth are we teaching our kids by allowing such pathetic behaviour to go un punished? The Ref isn’t going to change his mind (they literally never do and you can’t really reset the game for the advantage lol) no matter how loud someone screams in his face and the players know it. No wander nobody wants to ref grass roots football when the ‘pinnacle’ of the sport thinks this is ok.
