Cracking game to watch that, Hendo was outstanding and for me deserved motm but Mo Gets the plaudits for his 2 goals. For the amount of money Everton have spent in recent seasons they really do have a shocking lack of quality. Pickford was atrocious.

Echo other folks above, Champion and McCoist are a league above any other commentary team.

Everton have a half decent side but they don't have the depth to be without so many first 11 players, as they have been for much of this season. Mina, Allen, Doucoure, DCL and Richarlison have been out for at least half their games this season, it's no surprise they're struggling.

They've spent 500 million in the 5 seasons under moshri (not counting this season) and they were missing Mina and DCL last night, that squad is shocking for that level of spending.

They could have had a full strength side and that result could still have happened - we're much better than them. And I'm not disputing that they wasted a lot of money but most of that waste was in his early years. In the last couple of seasons they've slowly started to put together a decent team but they can't afford to be without half their side as they have for so much of this season so far.

Pickford's a wild one where he can look good for a few months then come out with a run of mad moments but I wouldn't say he was noticeably worse than all but the top few keepers in the League. Mina, Godfrey and Digne are 3/4's of a very good back 4. Doucoure and Allan are as good a midfield pairing as anything outside the top 3 and then you have DCL & Richarlison. If Everton could get those players on the pitch together consistently, with your Gray's, Coleman's etc around them then they're a very useful side. The problem they've had is Mina's played just 6 of 14 PL games this season, Digne 10, Doucoure 7, Allan 7, Richarlison 5 and DCL just 3.

Take the best players and spine out of any side in the League and you'll see their form suffer, no matter how much they've spent.

Looking forward to tonights game. I feel Utd had more of a structure to their play in the last 2 games. LOADS to work on clearly but much better performances. Can't wait to see what Rangnick brings to the club.

Outside of their first 11, they are top-end championship level.

I agree.

The club has suffered from bad management at board level, and we've had 6 managers in 6 years. No stability whatsoever.

I question what the Hell Marcel Brands does as a 'Director of football' What the **** does a director of football even do??

I feel for Rafa, he's a good manager who has inherited dross, brought in by Brands and the previous idiot who's name I cannot remember.

Liverpool are a well run Elite club, and not one of Everton first team players would ever get in Liverpool's starting eleven. I purposely didn't watch the game last night, as I knew what was coming.

We got battered by Chelsea but drew the game which is far better than the previous games getting battered by Liverpool and City and losing. Far better effort levels, much more structure and a bit more fight from the players. No idea how tonight will go as Arsenal have a habit of upping their game when they play us of late so we will see.

Last game before we have a proper manager again so the main thing here is not to lose and widen the gap to Arsenal to more than 5 points.

Looking forward to seeing how our players do under a manager who doesn't think this is still the 80s and all about wanting it enough. Hoping that Ronaldo starts on the bench again and we go with a solid shape and lots of energy until the 60th minute and then bring on the subs to change the game.
