Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 6th November 2023]

Tbf Klopp got Gomez at left back entirely wrong, we kept repeating same idea of going down the middle all match expecting a different outcome, pot shots from range for the most part.

Klopp changes came too late. All of this is on us
Yup, we had a plan A (which was a **** plan in itself anyway) and absolutely no plan b

We're not good enough through the midfield for matches like this, we haven't been for years. Even in the season when we won the title it was gritty matches like this which caused us the most problems, not the "difficult" games against the big sides

Thats the 3rd time in this match that Kabore has been down "injured" in this match and needed on the field treatment and none of the 3 have actually been injuries.

Elliott with good ball in and we didnt have a single player going for it near post, pathetic
This is the thing with Nunez. He can cause havoc, but you have no idea where he is half the time, and he misses the chances you should be able to rely on him to score. I like the guy, he cares and works so hard, but he's a long way off reaching the potential he clearly has

Nice to see Barkley having a decent game, always been technically great and had tons of natural ability but terminally poor decision-making and average football IQ meant he never reached the heights he suggested he might reach back 2013-2016
