Mental that Arsenal forced them to do that with that stupid statement.

Hopefully that’s it over and done with and they get a brutal call against them on Saturday which results in Burnley winning. Karma, not only that it’ll be hilarious.

Although we know full well, Burnley probably get a legit goal ruled out and Arsenal win 1-0 with a dodgy call late on.
You do realise we’re getting turned over by Bournemouth on Saturday don’t you?

Arsenal and Arteta have picked a strange hill to die on here like. I know it was contentious and a little unique that there was 3 separate points to review but VAR is supposed to pick out clear and obvious errors of which there are none in this decision. Even after almost a week of debate.
Had the ref not given it, VAR would have upheld his decision and Newcastle would, when the dust settled, be reasonably happy with a draw as I assume Arsenal would too. In the end Arteta has missed out on a solitary point, at best (there was still half an hour to play), to a side up norf that is becoming an increasingly more difficult place to get a result for visiting teams. Played their hand way to early in the season imo.
