Fair to say Onana has won whatever the opposite of Man of the Match is today. Muppet.

Forest are a very good side, you can't have a keeper doing all of that. Shocking.
 
Well, the attacking play felt like it is progressing, some nice movement at times.

Completely undone by some absolute WTF howlers from Martinez and Onana.

Was just thinking the same. We were outplayed by lots of teams over the last 2 years but not in this game. Defence had looked ok but I think we need a settled three and I'm not convinced about Martinez atm. Still think we lack a lot of quality and physicality. We get bullied in duels too often. Onana has been good this season so it's unexpected that he threw one in the net.
Forest are well ahead of us in the league so we should have known not to expect an easy game. Balance of the team clearly not right but we've known that for a while. The concern is that it's City up next and that could be three loses in a row which heaps pressure on the manager at an early stage.

What's really apparent is that Rashford will need to be sold. Fernandes will need to play with far more discipline and we desperately need a Mazraoui for the left side in January. Garnacho might alo need to go because he is playing poorly in this system but that could be linked to the whole left side situation.
 
Set pieces really are a challenge for us, both defending them and scoring from them. I can't believe the errors today, both the Gibbs-White and Wood goals were ridiculously stupid goals to concede. What amazes me was how easy it was for Forrest to put balls into our box, no one going out to challenge.

The squad is pretty unbalanced, Dalot has been pretty bad as of late but he's playing on the left. If he's not on the left, does he even play? He's not going to be playing on the right of a back three and he's not a wingback either because he doesnt offer much going forward.
