First of 3 games in the next 4 that will make or break our season, loose tomorrow against Swansea and it'll take a lot to save relegation (loose to QPR next week and we are all but finished too).

On the plus last saturday 3pm kickoff was against Villa which we won so it's not all doom and gloom...

Just so long as we don't make silly mistakes it'll be ok I think.

We can all watch Sheffield Wednesday lose on television :p :( :( :( :(

Awww :( then again actually going to Middlesborough was a pretty traumatic experience so tv is the best way for that game...

yippee grand proclaimations with loads of the season to go :p , seriously though its far too early to rule out staying up. While its not great that what 11th or so has 3 times your points, its still only 8 points. Teams can start off slow and ramp up and improve, but not always.

Of the bottom 6-7 QPR had the most changes and in that sense likely have the most to gain by time together, and the most experienced manager but, we'll see.

Villa have major problems winning, Sunderland as said, suck, QPR do look like they're improving but won't necessarily improve enough, Reading look poo, Stoke can't score. At the moment none of the bottom 6 I'd say at the moment look like they have the goals, squad, general quality to "pull away" from the relegation fight, meaning a bit of good luck for any of them could see them survive this season.

As for Arsenal, we could really have done with playing someone in the bottom 6 this week, Fulham, especially away from home CAN look bottom 6 quality, but now and then they can play well away, and Fulham at their best.... worry me seriously. Considering we have Spurs next I think we could quite easily lose the next 2 games, after which we could have a gap between us and 4th let alone us and 2nd. I think Berbatov picking up the ball and passing in people around our joke of a defence could go very badly. Kos/Verm who like to rush out and Berb who is brilliant at avoiding that kind of tackle and then pass into that space we've left...

Haha :D

I have faith in the club, manager and team to sort it out, but we play all the poo teams in the next 2 months. Swansea tomorrow, QPR the week after, Newcastle (who don't count) then Norwich at the end of the month. December we play Liverpool (away), Reading (home), Sunderland (home), Fulham (away) and Stoke away.

For our season to go anywhere we have to beat most of those teams around us, we can loose to Newcastle and Liverpool without any real consequence but all of the other teams we should aim to beat otherwise it's relegation as the teams around us pull away. We get villa away in january too which will be another decent chance to go the right way.

Then again a part of me would love another run in the champ as last time was lots of fun so it's not the end of the world.

I'd probably agree with you Pingwing - not a whole lot of confidence in that dressing room if you screw up the next few!

We have a ticket offer tomorrow - prder your tickets beforehand and they're a tenner (down from £22) and each season ticket holder can bring along someone for free. Ideally aiming to get 8,000 in the ground.

We're playing Carlisle... who'll bring 200! If they'd organised it when we're playing Sheff UTD or one of the other big teams, they'd bring along 2,000 with them and we'd easily surpass the 8,000 figure. Strange decisions!

That said we took over 1,000 to Pompey on a Tuesday night in League One

 what an offer!!! If it wasn't a saints home game should be hounding you for a free home game :p (espeically when you can have home support that out numbers the away by 16-1...)

Also 1k to pomp on a tuesday night is madness! Not even like it's a nice place or has nice away stuff :D

But yeah if we mess the next few games up we will be looking forward to Leeds away as a league fixture as well as a cup game...

Looks like a weekend where United could stretch their lead up top :D

Unless the team decide not to turn up and they gift 3 points to the home team - and rejuvenated by that, on Sunday Chelsea and City both win easily (and GD becomes a factor again, where now its about equal)

Tough game away at Blackburn today, hopefully we can start stringing some results together. If Lee Clark can get a win today there be quite a few fans who will change there mind about him.
