Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 11th January 2015]

Not our best performance of the season but the team has a really nice balance to it today. Lucas and Henderson have both been excellent in the centre, Borini has made a nuisance of himself and created space for others and Markovic finally looks like the player we were all promised when we signed him.

Same again second half.

It was enjoyable to watch which can be said for about 4-5 of our games this year.

Helps Sunderland are doing absolutely nothing, I'm sure when they decide to go at us we'll inevitably lose/draw, but fun first half
 
We've been as good as the ref has been bad. This game really should have been well and truly over but until Sturridge is back we're going to have to suffer this sort of performance a few more times.

I think we will be lucky if we see him at all this season wouldn't surprise me if in his first game the same injury occurred :(

I like that this is when the ref began to raise his hands for advantage. Nob.
 
I'd be livid if that was one of our players getting sent off, two of the softest yellow cards you'll ever see.

Ordinarily you could argue he's favouring the bigger side but the ref's having a mare today. Doubt it'll be the last bad mistake.
